Thin-Crust Pizza Dough
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups (375 ml) sparkling mineral water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 3 ½ cups (525 g) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the water, sugar and yeast. Let rest for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl using a wooden spoon, or in a stand mixer using the dough hook, combine the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and stir until a soft ball forms. On a lightly floured surface or in a stand mixer, knead the dough for 5 minutes or until smooth.
- Shape the dough into a ball and place in a lightly floured bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm, humid place for about 2 hours or until the dough has doubled in volume.
