Stuffed Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1 Toulouse sausage, about 5.5 oz (150 g), casing removed (about 180 ml (3/4 cup) sausage meat)
  • 1 Cortland apple, peeled and grated
  • 1/3 cup (75 ml) cheddar cheese, diced
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 pork chops, bone-in, about 1-inch (2.5-cm) thick
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) butter
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) honey
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) white wine
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 190 °C (375 °F).
