Planked Salmon
Ingredients
- 1 untreated maple or cedar plank approximately 6 x 15-inch (15 x 38-cm)
- 1 1/2 lb (675 g) skinless salmon fillet
- 1/3 cup (75 ml) olive oil
- Juice of 1 lime or 1/2 lemon
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) chopped fresh herbs (chives, flat-leaf parsley, cilantro, etc.)
- Salt and pepper
- 6 tablespoons (90 ml) soy sauce
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) mirin
- 1/4 cup (15 ml) mirin
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) toasted sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 green onion, sliced
- Pepper
