Ingredients

  • 1 can (28 oz/796 ml) plum tomatoes
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
  • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Place the tomatoes into a bowl and crush them with your hands.
  2. In a pot over medium-high heat, soften the garlic in the oil. Add the tomatoes, basil and oregano. Simmer gently for 20 minutes, covering with a splatter screen, as needed.
