Pizza All’uovo
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1 small clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper
- 1 ball 1 lb (454 g) pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
- 1 can 19 oz (540 ml) diced tomatoes, drained
- 8 thin slices prosciutto
- 1 jar 170 ml marinated artichoke hearts, drained and cut into thin wedges
- 1 cup (250 ml) grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
- 4 eggs
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- On the lowest rack of the oven, place a pizza stone or an upside down baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 250 °C (500 °F).
