Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, chopped
- 5 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) honey
- 2 tsp (10 ml) low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 cups (460 g) jasmine rice
- 2 lb (900 g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into large pieces
- 2 cups (500 ml) chicken broth
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- In a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat, warm the oil with the ginger for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.
- Add the green onions to the skillet and mix well. Set aside ½ cup (125 ml) of the mixture in a bowl. Add the honey and soy sauce. Mix well.
