Lemon and Ginger Sea Scallops
Ingredients
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper
- 20 large scallops
- Raw sesame oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the lemon juice, honey, green onions, ginger and pepper. Add the scallops and marinate for at least 30 minutes, but no more than an hour.
- Drain the scallops. In a skillet, sear the scallops on both sides in a little sesame oil. Season with salt.
- In a saucepan, reduce the marinade by half. Pour over the scallops.
- Serve with rice and vegetables.
