Chili Crisp Sautéed Shrimp

Use our recipe for a spicy chili condiment (chili crisp), already intensely flavourful, and mix it with shrimp for a quick dinner or lunch that’ll get people talking. Simply serve the dish with rice, green vegetables or a salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil
  • 2 packages (300 g each) medium shrimp (20/40) shelled, patted very dry
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) spicy chili crisp
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a wok or a large skillet over high heat, warm the oil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes or until starting to brown, turning them over halfway through cooking. Add the chili crisp and cook for 1 more minute or until the shrimp are cooked through, stirring to coat them in the sauce.
  2. Divide the shrimp among four plates. Sprinkle with the green onion. Serve with sushi rice and a green vegetable, if desired.
