Cheese Curd and Bacon Burgers
Can’t make up your mind between using bacon slices, ketchup chips or cheese curd? Combine them all in this gourmet burger to the power of 10! It’s so delicious that it doesn’t even need a side dish.
Ingredients
- 5 oz (140 g) cheese curds
- 4 slices bacon, cut into pieces
- 1 lb (450 g) medium-lean ground beef
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) ketchup
- 4 brioche hamburger buns
- Mayonnaise, to taste
- 1 cup (40 g) ketchup kettle chips, or more to taste
- Iceberg lettuce leaves, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill, setting the burners to high. Oil the grate.
- In a small food processor, finely chop the cheese curds. Transfer to a large bowl. Finely chop the bacon in the food processor and add to the bowl of cheese.
- Add the ground beef to the bowl. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Mix well. With your hands, shape the meat mixture into 4 patties. Place on a plate. Lightly oil the patties.
