Caesar Pizza
This easy Caesar salad pizza combines the best of both worlds!
Ingredients
- 4 large tortillas, about 9-inches (23 cm) in diameter or store-bought thin pizza crust squares
- ¾ cup (180 ml) sour cream
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 ½ cups (150 g) mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1/3 cup (75 ml) mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice
- 2 romaine lettuce hearts, torn
- 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup (170 g) cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 tbsp capers, or more to taste
- Parmesan cheese, freshly grated, to taste
Instructions
- With both racks in the middle position, preheat a convection oven to 425°F (220°C) (see note).
- Place the tortillas on two non-stick baking sheets. Cover with the sour cream, half of the onion and all of the mozzarella.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the tortillas are crispy.
- Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the mayonnaise and lemon juice.
- Top the pizzas with the lettuce, bacon, chicken, capers and remaining onion. Drizzle with the lemon mayonnaise and sprinkle with Parmesan.
