No-Cook Strawberry and Pineapple Jam
Ingredients
- 2 cups (500 ml) fresh strawberries, quartered
- 2 cups (500 ml) diced pineapple (about half a pineapple)
- 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) sugar
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
- 1 package 45 g freezer jam powdered pectin
Instructions
- In a bowl, with a potato masher, slightly mash the fruit. Add the sugar and lemon juice. Stir to blend and let stand 15 minutes.
- Add the pectin and stir for 3 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Put the jam in jars and freeze.
- The jam will keep for 1 year in the freezer or three weeks in the refrigerator.
