Dairy-Free Chocolate, Banana, Almond and Cashew Smoothie
Ingredients
- 3 ice cubes
- ½ very ripe banana, chopped
- ½ very ripe avocado, chopped
- 1 cup (250 ml) unsweetened almond and cashew protein beverage
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tsp (10 ml) maple syrup
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
- Cacao nibs (optional)
Instructions
- In a personal blender fitted with the grinding blade, purée the ice cubes, banana, avocado, almond and cashew beverage, cocoa powder, maple syrup, ground cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Pour into a large glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or cocoa nibs, if desired. Serve immediately.
