Asian-Style Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 1 kg pork chops with the bones, trimmed
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) untoasted sesame oil
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) coriander seeds, ground
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) tomato paste
- Salt, to taste
- Cayenne pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bag, combine all the ingredients except for the vegetable oil. Seal and allow to marinate overnight in the refrigerator, ideally.
- On a ridged skillet, cook the chops in a little vegetable oil on high heat. It can also be cooked on the grill on high heat.
- Serve with a rice noodles salad.
