Air Fryer Roast Chicken Breast
What’s the secret to tender and juicy chicken breasts? Cooking them in the air fryer! Coated with a mayonnaise, lemon and spice marinade, the pieces of poultry are cooked and served with a creamy, lemony sauce. A great way to save time and get a perfect result on busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) mayonnaise
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1/2 lemon, zest finely grated
- 1 tsp (5 ml) lemon juice
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice and spices. Season with salt and pepper. Add the chicken and toss to coat well with the mayonnaise mixture.
- Place the chicken in the basket of an air fryer. Cook for 22 to 25 minutes at 400°F (200°C) or until the chicken is cooked through (see note). Let rest for 5 minutes.
