15-Minute Microwaved Rice
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) basmati rice
- 1 3/4 cups (430 ml) chicken broth
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Place the rice in a strainer and rinse it well under cold running water.
- Combine the rice and broth in a microwave-safe bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Place the bowl in the oven and microwave on high power for about 15 minutes.
- Stir. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
