Quick Crispy Tartlets
Ingredients
- 12 frozen square wonton wrappers, thawed
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ¼ cup (60 ml) raspberry jam or dulce de leche
- Ice cream, to taste
- Berries, to taste (optional)
Instructions
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a work surface, brush the wonton wrappers on both sides with the butter. Sprinkle with the sugar on both sides. Line each cavity of a 12-cup non-stick muffin tin with a wonton wrapper. Place 1 tsp (5 ml) of the jam or dulce de leche in each wrapper.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the tartlets are nicely browned. Let cool for 5 minutes. Unmould the tartlets while still warm. Let cool completely.
- Top the tartlets with ice cream or berries, to taste.
