Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) water
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) sugar
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) water
  • 2 cups (500 ml) 35% cream, hot
  • 1 1/4 cups (310 ml) milk, hot
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks

Instructions

  1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F).
