Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) cream of tartar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
  • 1 cup (250 ml) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) 35% cream, hot
  • 2 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) toasted slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 75 °C (170 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
