Ingredients
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) chocolate-hazelnut spread (Nutella-style), plus more for garnish
- 4 tsp (20 ml) milk
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup (50 g) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips, plus more for garnish
Instructions
- Line two small microwave-safe plates with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine the chocolate-hazelnut spread, milk and baking powder with a spoon until smooth (see note). Add the flour and salt. Mix until combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter evenly between the two plates. Flatten with your fingertips into 3-inch (7.5 cm) round, ½-inch (1 cm) thick cookies. Top with more chocolate chips and a drizzle of chocolate-hazelnut spread, if desired.
- Cook one cookie at a time in the microwave oven for 30 seconds. The cookie will be soft when it comes out of the microwave. Slide the cookie with the parchment paper off the plate and let cool for a few minutes before eating.
