Maple Crème Caramel

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (105 g) sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) corn syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 cup (40 g) maple sugar
  • 1 cup (250 ml) milk
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) 35% cream

Instructions

  1. On a work surface, place four 1-cup (250 ml) ramekins.
  2. In a pot, bring the sugar, maple syrup and corn syrup to a boil. Cook without stirring until an amber caramel forms. Divide the caramel among the ramekins. Let cool.
