Grilled Cherry and Pound Cake Skewers
Ingredients
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
- 1/2 pound cake, cut into 24 1-inch (2.5-cm) cubes
- 30 fresh cherries with their stems
- 6 wood or bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- Preheat the grill, setting the burners to high. Oil the grate. In a small bowl, combine the egg, milk and sugar.
