Coconut Pear Crisp
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (45 g) corn flakes
- 1 1/2 cups (135 g) shredded coconut (sweetened or not)
- 1/2 cup (75 g) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (105 g) brown sugar
- 2 tbsp unbleached all-purpose flour
- 10 ripe but firm Bartlett pears, peeled, cored and cut in 12 wedges each
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) lemon juice
Instructions
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients. Add the condensed milk and vanilla. Mix well.
