Chrystine Brouillet’s Chocolate Balls (Chokladbollar)
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) sugar
- 1/4 lb (117 g) butter
- 2 cups (500 ml) corn flakes (such as Kellogg's), coarsely crushed
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) shredded coconut
- 4 1/2 tablespoons (70 ml) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) coffee
- Grated coconut, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the sugar with the butter. Add the corn flakes, coconut, cocoa powder, vanilla, and coffee or rum.
- Shape into small balls, roll in the shredded coconut or chocolate shavings and refrigerate until ready to serve.
