Apple and Maple Turnovers
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) water
- 2 cups (500 ml) Empire apples (or McIntosh), peeled and grated
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon juice
- 1/3 cup (75 ml) maple butter
- 1 piece 7 oz (200 g) puff pastry, thawed
- Sugar (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine egg and water with fork. Set aside.
