Beef and Egg Chilaquiles
Our colleagues Étienne and Ian had the opportunity to eat this generous, typically Mexican dish at Los Antojos restaurant during a trip to Las Vegas. These chilaquiles, corn chips loaded with salsa, sour cream and cheese, are served here all-dressed with beef, black beans and sunny-side-up eggs.

Guacamole with Tomatoes
This side dish is perfect to serve with nachos, pita bread, crudités or whatever you fancy in the moment. Made with avocados, lime, tomatoes, green onions, fresh cilantro and Tabasco sauce, this green spread adds just a kick of flavour for a perfect, super fresh snack.

Lentil and Beef Tacos
Take your usual beef tacos and swap half the meat for lentils instead for that extra boost of iron and fiber!

Paletas de Aguacate (Avocado Ice Pops)
The avocado is believed to have originated in Mexico, so it’s no wonder it appears on menus far and wide. Though mostly used in savoury dishes, this mellow, rich fruit lends itself naturally to sweet concoctions, too. Proof? Our paletas (a.k.a. ice pops) are a simple delight made by mixing the avocado’s luscious green flesh in a blender with sweetened condensed milk and sugar. A couple of hours in the freezer and you’ve got a refreshingly creamy treat that shines extra bright with a squeeze of lime just before the first lick.

Torta de Milanesa con Frijoles y Aguacate (Breaded Beef Sandwich with Refried Black Beans and Avocado)
A Mexican street-food mainstay, tortas are generously stuffed sandwiches that come in many variations, with one thing in common: They’re bursting with meat and veggies. Ours spills over with thin slices of breaded steak—inspired by Milanese veal cutlets—and frijoles, a black bean paste that’s commonly used in many dishes, not to mention juicy tomatoes, diced avocado and smokey chipotle sauce. You can also serve up tortas in the morning—breakfast burrito who?
