Bittersweet Fennel and Orange Salad

Bring a touch of freshness to the table with this side salad consisting of fennel and orange, which go well with the crunchy radicchio and the anise-flavoured tarragon. It’s a delightful combination of sweet and bitter flavours, which is a nice change from the usual mashed potatoes.

Roasted Tomato Soup with Croissant Croutons

On cold days, warm up with this comforting creamy tomato soup, made with simple ingredients and lots of love. First, roast canned Italian tomatoes until caramelized, which adds a touch of sweetness to the soup. And instead of classic croutons, take stale croissants and lightly toast them in a pan. This will level up the entire meal!

Clementine and Cinnamon Whisky

Prepare this flavoured whisky at least 24 hours ahead of time so it can absorb the flavours of the clementine and cinnamon. It’s best enjoyed when sipped slowly from a small glass while catching up with family and friends.

Hot Crab Dip

While waiting for dinner to start, serve your guests this warm dip. Prepare it using either crab or shrimp, and then combine it with a creamy white sauce and cheddar cheese. Bake it in the oven until hot, and serve it with crackers and a glass of white wine.

Macaroni and Cheese Croquettes with Jalapeño Sauce

To make these croquettes, in collaboration with Kraft Dinner, we were inspired by arancini, but replaced the rice with mac and cheese for an irresistibly cheesy version. All you need to do is prepare the boxed pasta and add some grated Tex-mex cheese, and then shape into balls. Coat them in a breading made of panko breadcrumbs and bacon before frying. Serve them with a sour cream- and jalapeño-based sauce for a spicy kick with every bite.

Jalapeño Popper Turnovers

jalapeño poppers are a Tex-Mex dish consisting of hot peppers stuffed with cheese. In collaboration with Philadelphia, we took this idea and instead placed cream cheese and cheddar on phyllo dough and made triangular bites. Chopped jalapeños are included for added heat. These hors d’oeuvres are sure to spice up any party.

Marbled Cream Cheese and Cranberry Mousse

For simplicity’s sake, you can prepare this dessert in a serving bowl, in collaboration with Philadelphia. This white chocolate and cream cheese mousse is enhanced with a cranberry and orange zest coulis, and served with langue de chat cookies. Layer the mousse alternately with the coulis, combining the sweet and tangy flavours. With its beautiful marbled effect, it’ll be the star of the dessert table.
