Steamed Lobster with Garlic Flower and Lemon Butter
Ingredients
- 1-inch (2.5-cm) water (approximately 250 ml / 1 cup)
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) sea salt
- 4 lobsters
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) salted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lemon juice
- Grated zest of 1/2 lemon
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) finely chopped garlic flower
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Bring to a boil about 1-inch (2.5-cm) of water at the bottom of a large pot and season the water with salt, adding approximately 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of sea salt per 250 ml (1 cup) of water.
- Remove the rubber bands from the lobsters with scissors or a knife. Place the lobsters on top of each other in the pot. Cover. Count 12 minutes of cooking for 454 g (1 lb) lobsters from the time the water comes back to a boil again. For every additional 125 g (1/4 lb) add 1 minute of cooking time.
- Serve with the Garlic Flower and Lemon Butter.
