No-Cook Strawberry Jam
Ingredients
- 6 cups (840 g) fresh or thawed frozen strawberries
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) orange juice
- 1 1/2 cups (315 g) sugar
- 1 package (45 grams) freezer jam powdered pectin
Instructions
- On a work surface, dice 2 cups (280 g) of the strawberries.
- In a bowl, using a potato masher, or in a food processor, purée the remaining strawberries with the orange juice until smooth. Stir in the sugar. Add the diced strawberries and mix well. Let sit for 15 minutes.
- Add the pectin to the jam mixture and stir for 3 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes. Transfer the jam into containers and seal tightly.
- The jam will keep for 3 weeks in the refrigerator or for 1 year in the freezer.
