Pita Chips with Za’atar
These chips seasoned with za’atar, a Middle Eastern spice blend, go perfectly with a warm homemade or store-bought dip. Served alongside raw veggies during happy hour or at a buffet, they’re delicious with a slow cooker warm artichoke dip.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 1/2 tsp ground sumac
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp fleur de sel
- 5 pita breads, cut into triangles
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) olive oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the sesame seeds, spices and fleur de sel. Season generously with pepper.
