Marbled Pistachio Bread
Whether for breakfast or a coffee break, we love all kinds of dessert breads. Here’s a marbled version made with local pistachio butter. Even once the cake is baked, the butter remains creamy and brings a richness to the loaf, making for an indulgent snack.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) pistachio butter (see note)
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) maple syrup
- 1 pinch salt
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) milk
- 1 tsp (5 ml) apple cider vinegar
- 1 3/4 cups (265 g) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup (170 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups (265 g) sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) pistachio butter
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Set aside.
