Applesauce

Ingredients

  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) water
  • 1 litre (4 cups) McIntosh apples, unpeeled, seeded and cubed (about 4 medium apples)

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring the water and apples to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the apples have softened.
  2. In a blender or using an immersion blender, puree the apple mixture until smooth. Watch out for splattering. Let cool completely.
